Twitterfeed.com is what I'm using to send my blog RSS feed, to Twitter. The one problem is that Jott adds in a bunch of stuff, but Twitterfeed does pretty well because it'll actually send a tiny URL to Twitter so you can click on and go to the blog. I'm sure there's probably other ways that it would be more better for...

So it looks like 16 minutes is what the average length from jotting to E-mailing or transcribing. I did get the later one where I did at 7:35 at night that took 40 minutes to do, but the 16 minutes is not too bad.

Highlights

Just Jott. Jott creates email, text and instant audio messages completely hands free. No more driving with your knees as you type (please!). With V2, you simply Jott — to yourself, other people, or groups. This means there is a change in our voice menu: we simply ask “Who do you want to Jott?”... For a jott to yourself, just say “Myself”.

As for Groups... Working late? Jott “family”. Has the soccer game shifted to another location? Jott “Soccer Team”. Flight delayed? Jott “The office”. A little late filling the tank? Jott “carpool”. With V2, simply say the name of a group you’ve created, say your Jott, and you’re done. We automatically convert your voice to text, and deliver your message in email and/or text.

Contact import. We now have a tool which makes contact importing trivial. It works with Outlook, Gmail, AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail and others. Having your contact list up to date unlocks the power of Jott; it’s a voice powered address book at the other end of a simple phone call.

Dear Jotters,

We've had an amazing couple of months at Jott, with a ton of buzz and feedback. We've seen great press, including the Wall Street Journal, Law.com, Yahoo! Tech, Lifehacker.com, Informationweek, Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Seattle Times and many others. Jott's been hailed as 'insanely clever' and a 'godsend'.

Best of all, Jott's being used for a huge variety of things: hard core legal work to sales to blogging to rapping. It's what we dreamed about.

I'd like to thank you for your business. You've been a big part of our evolution.

Soon, we are rolling out a much improved version of Jott. There are small changes and big ones, and of course there is a long way to go. But we are confident you will like what you see. Unavoidably, we need to bring our service offline for some hours. Hopefully this will be done during a time when you don't need us.

After the upgrade is complete, I will send a much more extensive email explaining our new features. But what you need to know for when we come back up: when we ask 'Who do you want to Jott?', say 'myself' if it's a jott to yourself, and wait for the beep.
